Measuring Instructions
To order and mount the products themselves, it is first necessary to accurately measure the window. The window height and width are measured differently, depending on the product mounting location.
Mounting on a frame of a window
1. Height measurement. Height is measured from the window bottom frame middle till upper frame middle.
2. Width measurement. When mounting product on the window frame, the product width is window glass width + glass holders widths.
Mounting on the wall above window
1. Height measurement. Height is measured from the windowsill till the top of an aperture. Measure in a such depth in what the product will be mounted. Attention! Apertures height of the entire width of the window may vary. Measure in three places and place the minimum height in the order.
2. Width measurement. Width is measured from one edge to another edge. Measure in a such depth in what the product will be mounted. Attention! Apertures width of the entire height of the window may vary. Measure in three places and place the minimum width in the order.
Mounting at ceiling above window
1. Height measurement. When mounting at ceiling above window is important to calculate how high product must be raised above the window opening, that it does not interfere the window opening when the product is raised. Ask our experts how much space your chosen product takes. Height is measured from the windowsill.
2. Width measurement. When mounting at ceiling above window, we recommend to compare to the width of the product to the width of windowsills. If there is no windowsill, we recommend to measure the width of the products following: aperture width + overlap on the wall (3 – 5 cm from each side).
